Just as the logo states, we’re all about serving the freshest meals using the freshest ingredients… and we’re also keeping it mostly healthy. “The “mostly” part lets us serve items we think of as “good for the soul” and that’s certainly part of any balanced living-in-the-real-world, world! Our menu should satisfy both those who love authentic Southern Cooking and those who track macros or follow a clean eating regime.
The Feed Store has been an evolution of ideas bantered around among family and friends for more than a decade. Owner George "Keoki" Willis IV, whose love of cooking and appreciation of good food, dreamed of having a restaurant and to that end pursued, adapted, and embraced those ideas along with a business concept we think will serve El Campo and surrounding areas well. The Feed Store gives our customers a go-to place for freshly prepared meals in a relaxing, happy atmosphere or to-go meals making life a little easier. Plus there's homemade bread ... and what's not to love about that!Explore our Food Gallery
Most people around these parts know exactly where we're located because our building was "the feed store behind the post office" for over 50 years as it housed a succession of feed and seed type companies owned by various families and individuals. An old railroad spur now embedded in concrete runs under the dining room where train cars brought in rye grass seed during the winter, salt meal and other freight. Willis bought the building in 2016 to warehouse supplies for his window and fence company with the idea for a restaurant where it is today.
The Feed Store is pleased to offer catering. We have options available for any event.
